Performance Enhancement

  Energy is the most precious resource that is entirely yours to manage. Competitive sports, playing with your kids, having meaningful conversations with your partner, or performing tasks well at work all demand quality energy. How well are you managing the energy that is freely yours to own? And equally important, is it evenly distributed to the areas that really matter? Why is it that we take the time to fill up our cars with the fuel that is needed to efficiently run, yet our very own bodies – the vehicles that drive our lives – are often neglected. For optimal energy, it is just as necessary to fuel our bodies with proper nutrition and routine conditioning in order to maintain an energy level that will enhance whatever activities or causes we choose to give our lives to. What do you live for? What are the things that excite you? What drives your personal life mission? The quality of your energy is what fuels you towards these things that demand your best.

  MAW wants to help others understand the importance of managing their energy. Our programs have been successful in transforming lives, as many have stepped outside of their comfort zones to try something new and instantly saw visible changes in their physical appearance, a more positive attitude, more self-confidence, and an increased level of energy to sustain them in all the areas of their lives. Our curriculum is focused on the total person, understanding that there is more beyond physical conditioning. Our curriculum is uniquely designed to promote physical, mental, and moral fitness –which lead to financial fitness and life fitness.

MAW SUGGESTIONS FOR PEAK PERFORMANCE:

Take an inventory of your energy investments. Make sure you are distributing your best energy to the things that are most important to you.

Breaks are necessary for elite performance. Pulling away allows you to come back to the task or activity mentally renewed and physically re-charged. In the working environment, make sure you get up and walk around or perform power exercises (what we do here at MAW). If you are an athlete, breaks allow your body to recover and allow re-growth of muscle fibers, building strength.

Get some fresh air when you are able to. Breathing helps to induce a state of relaxation and a more natural setting furthers this, while allowing your attention to drift away from your tasks.

Take yourself away from sources of speed. Our biological rhythms are not designed to constantly operate this way, especially as much as we’ve grown accustomed to. This recovery period is necessary for elite performance.



For extraordinary performance, it is highly important for you to build habits, making time for recovery in all areas of your life.  Both mind and body equally need recovery.   Know when to give your best energy investments towards those specific mental tasks or physical activities that are the most meaningful to you, personally.  Understand that stress is not only important, but necessary, for growth of the mind and body …but remember that recovery is just as important and necessary.  To improve performance, be it in your career or as an athlete, theses same principles would apply.
